Drop-off and pickup, or an hourly block? POST Houston is at 401 Franklin Street in Downtown, in the former Barbara Jordan Post Office building, and its Skylawn park is where the fireworks have been launched. The 2025 celebration ran from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and sold out, so check POST's own events page for this year's tickets and entry. Most groups end up choosing between two ways to organize the ride. Separate trips out and back You book a ride to POST and a second ride home. It suits a party whose evening is simply the event itself. The trade-off is that your return is tied to a time set in advance, and a midnight show followed by a party that runs until 2 a.m. gives guests very different ideas about when to leave. If your group tends to scatter, this approach leaves you more to coordinate on the night. An hourly block for the whole evening You book hourly service for a block of time that covers dinner Downtown, the arrival at POST and the departure afterward. It suits a host entertaining clients or family, because the chauffeur is booked for the evening rather than for a single trip. We also serve guests of Hotel ICON, so a dinner-then-party plan can begin from a hotel lobby. The trade-off here is that you commit to a longer reservation, so the host should have a realistic end time in mind. Three details that tip the decision Send us these details through our booking page, and the choice usually becomes clear: Whether anyone plans to leave before midnight Whether guests are arriving from a hotel, a home or a restaurant Whether anyone in the group needs to be home at a set hour If most guests arrive and leave together, separate trips are simple. If the evening has a dinner first, a guest list with different timing, or a host who wants one point of contact, the hourly block fits better. Guests starting from different addresses book their own rides. What affects the curb at POST POST's visitor page says special events may require tickets, RSVPs or security checks, and that a clear-bag policy may apply. If guests are dropped off together, they can sort out tickets as a group, and the host can confirm who holds one before the evening begins. Street closures or event traffic can change where vehicles are able to stop, so give your chauffeur a landmark on Franklin Street and let them know if the situation on the ground changes the plan. Tickets, entry and the program all belong to POST, and our part ends at the curb. The event transfer page explains how rides for an evening like this are arranged, and the Downtown Houston page describes the neighborhood around Franklin Street.
